Jason Reynolds-Winter 2020New York Times bestselling author Jason Reynolds visited CPMS on January 30th. As Library of
Congress’ newest national ambassador for young people, Mr. Reynolds spoke with CPMS students about how he became an author while affirming the power of books and the power of each student’s individual story. Mr. Reynolds emphasized to students that the greatest gift they can give themselves is themselves! CPMS student-submitted questions made it possible for Adam Sokel of the Professional Book Nerds to facilitate a podcast session here at our school. Look for the podcast to be released on March 9 on the Professional Book Nerd Podcast, and give it a listen to hear more from the author and our students. https://professionalbooknerds.com/ep-425-dr-ibram-x-kendi-jason-reynolds/ |
