About Mrs. Kern
This is Mrs. Stacey Kern's ninth year in the CPMS library media center, and she has been an educator for over 20 years. Mrs. Kern is a certified school librarian (grades K-12) holding a Master's Degree in Library Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, both from Indiana University. Before coming to CPMS, she was a middle school social studies and English teacher. Mrs. Kern loves being a librarian and talking to students about fantastic books. She has so many favorite books, it is difficult to narrow it down to one, five, or even fifty favorites. Her favorite thing to hear from students is that they have found a book they like, or even love. Mrs. Kern is most proud professionally of being awarded the Outstanding New School Library by the Indiana Library Federation in 2017. She and her husband, Mark, have three children and a cat who keep them smiling and quite happily busy.
